Carnival Events

The Blackpool Carnival Community Interest Company has organised since 2018 for Father Christmas to
travel around many residential streets of the town on his sleigh, with plenty of coloured lights and a
mixture of Christmas Carols and Christmas pop favourites being played, every evening from early December until Christmas Eve. In addition, Santa also visits pub car parks, supermarkets, schools and community centres.

We encourage children of all ages to have photographs taken with Santa for no charge whatsoever ensuring that no child is excluded.

The necessary permit and licence has to be granted by the Council for the
good of the community and the children.
Everybody is encouraged to come and join in the fun, helping us to celebrate together as one community for the start of the
Christmas period!

Showzam is a series of street performances throughout the Town Centre, around each corner there will be a different act, whether circus, magic, music or theatre related.
